Preparing for Kissimmee
1-23-2025 - As I prepare for this first major event, my first Bassmaster event, the nerves are starting to kick into high gear. I start the long drive from PA to FL in 5 days. My plan is to get there sometime Wednesday and have both Thursday and Friday to practice fish. This is my first trip to Kissimmee and I couldn't be more stoked!! For one, to get away from this cold Pennsylvania weather for a week, but also to fish some water that I've been dreaming of fishing for years! KBF held The 10 there a few years back and ever since then, I've been wanting to go there. Fortunately, it just so happens that I have the time and the opportunity to go so here we go! As of right now, 121 anglers have registered and there's some names I know are still missing. It's really wild when I think about it. I'm going to be on the water with names like Jody Queen, Ken Wood, Joe McElroy, Gene Jensen, and so many more! It's going to be a great trip! So far, the weather is looking great! High 70's low 80's for Saturday and high 70's for Sunday with overcast both days. Kissimmee being a shallow lake, it's lining up for exactly how I like to fish. I'll be posting up pictures and telling the story here so make sure to check in for any updates. I hope everyone has safe travels and we'll see you in Florida!
